Acknowledging the work of others or the role they play in your project can protect you from certain copyright related problems and it is a fair thing to do. If you produce your own videos and you want to credit the people who lend a hand, you can use VideoTagger to create rolling or sliding credits in just a few minutes. The application allows you to choose from various credits styles and customize them without any effort.

VideoTagger is available in Free and Premium editions, for Windows and Mac OS X platforms. With a modern Internet connection, it should not take more than a minute to download the 26 MB setup file. Moreover, installing the software's components is a straightforward procedure.

The application comes with a user friendly interface, so you can get used to its layout and functions in no time. When you start a new project, you can select your preferred font settings for titles, names and roles, but you can also select a video format for cell phones or iPods, digital cameras, camcorders, HDTV and more.

VideoTagger allows you to create several credits sections, with different styles, in the same project. When creating a new section, you can choose an alignment for your text and a number of columns. You can also choose a roles and names section or a song list, with different alignments. The title can be customized on the same window. It can be text, with different font settings and colors, or it can be an image from your hard drive.

Inserting information in a credits section is quite easy, regardless of the selected style. All you have to do is type the names, roles or titles, in separate cells, on the top half of the main interface. While adding the information, you can preview your credits on the lower half of the window and select different fonts and sizes. Credits can be exported in AVI format. Before you start exporting, you can set a frame rate, a speed, set the run time in minutes and seconds and choose a rendering quality.

Pros

The software allows you to create credits, without any effort. You may create separate credits sections, with their own styles and alignments. When the credits are complete, you can export them in AVI format.

Cons

You can't add special elements, like effects. VideoTagger will help you create professional looking credits swiftly, in a simple and comfortable manner.
